FAQ's

Who is the workshop for?
If you are pregnant or postpartum and whether you had your baby two months ago or five years ago, this workshop is designed with you in mind. You will just need to have had your medical sign-off, which is usually at 6-8 weeks for a straightforward birth and 12 weeks for a caesarian birth.
Pelvic floor dysfunction is especially common (but not normal) in postpartum mums. If you have diastasis recti, urinary incontinence, prolapse, back and hip pain, or pelvic pain then this workshop will teach you the foundations of pelvic floor rehab through key movement principles.
If you have had a baby and are unsure of where to start your recovery then this workshop is for you.
Also if you are unsure how to diaphragm (core breath) or have a hard time connecting with the pelvic floor, than this workshop will teach you that.
If you're keen to return to running, lifting weights, or high impact activities then this is where you need to start! You will learn core activation patterns which are vital for protecting your core when doing high loading and high impact exercises to prevent pelvic floor issues.

Can I bring my baby or is ok to come alone?
Yes - you can bring your little one and have them next to you in a bassinet, carseat, bouncy chair, or anything they are comfortable in. We are just unable to have buggies in the yoga studio. I do also recommend bringing anything else they may need - ie. soothers, blankets, toys. You will be free to soothe, feed and change your little one at anytime throughout the class.
You are also very welcome to come alone without your little one. This will give you the opportunity to really focus and dedicate this time for you.

What do I need to bring / wear?
I recommend wearing leggings and a vest top or similar to the class so that I can see your tummy muscles working correctly. Please also bring a bottle of water to have with you in the studio. Tea and coffee will be available.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes - please let me know at the time of booking what you're requirements are and we'll accommodate this.
